A PC repair shop has taken the mick, What can I do?
I found a PC repair shop online, and looking at the reviews they seemed positive. However, going into their store I signed an agreement of paying a min charge of £54. Its been around 3-4 months and they still have the laptop as their apparently waiting for a component from China. Apparentally the first one was faulty and they ordered a new one and would report back to me. They never did. I want to take it back as someone I know can repair it but I dont want to pay them the minimum charge as they have just stalled. What are my options?

Your problem is getting it back as they will not release it without you paying however 3-4 months is really unacceptable and 'parts' do not take that long to arrive.
You signed an agreement for a repair, they have not repaired it and it has taken 3-4 months and it is still not done, so reality is you owe nothing and if you have to pay to get it back you take them to small claims court to recover your money/legal costs
