Virtually non existent the only ones making bombs now are a few hot heads who can't give up. IRA was said to be a technical adviser of bomb making for-Al Qaeda and received money in return. Therefore, IRA is responsible for 911 World Trade Centre attack in a way. That is all total rubbish. The IRA used to get their money from Drugs extortion and a lot of other criminal activities. They also got money from an organisation called Noraid in the states among the Irish community which purported to be collecting on behalf of widows and orphans in Ireland. They also bought weapons from Libya.

The 'IRA' are no more, however there are rogue isolated extremists who will continue 'in the name of' previous terrorists. There is no 'training organisation' and that at the time was funded by Americans, so working on your own perceptions, America funded their own 911....... the previously convicted IRA terrorists are now political and are the left wing party Sinn Féin many of which are now MLAs in NI and the third-largest political party in the Oireachtas ROI.... SF MLAs are stopping the NI Assembly from running insisting on 'an Irish language act' being implemented and paid for in NI UK and that they will not return to work unless the elected DUP leader resigns but they continue to take their very large salaries, they did this before and got what they wanted and are doing it again meaning it is affecting NI as a whole very badly with cuts in funding in health, education etc which affect the public badly...eg an appointment to see a GP is offered a minimum of a month later and if someone 'needs' to see a doctor before that they are told to go to A&E which can be 30 miles away and sit and wait for long hours as funding is simply not being released to them to continue normal service, even people with regular prescription medication it is not now repeated so each time they have to visit the GP office ask for a prescription to be ordered and written to be able to get it.

The British security services have excellent intel and SAS teams who could eradicate anyone anywhere so its unlikely that the IRA are a serious threat.

Of course, while the dim growlers on here have been educating us on how Muslims, be they lawful, or otherwise will stalk our granddaughters, and bomb our chip shops (just a moment - wasn't that Germans, in decades gone by?) former Royal Marine Ciaran Maxwell stashed anti-personnel mines, mortars, ammunition and 14 pipe bombs - four of which were later used - in 43 purpose-built woodland hides at eight locations in Northern Ireland and England, and for his troubles, received 18 years for it...with no 'SAS' bod involved in apprehending him; he was just foolish enough to leave telling material in part of the woods where he had hidden most of his stuff.
