What are the directions of velocity and acceleration when a constant mass moves to the right while it is being pushed to the left?

And does it move faster, slower, in a different direction or stay the same?

The direction of velocity is to the right because the mass is moving to right.

F = ma
Hence, the direction of acceleration is equal to the direction acting to the mass.
The direction of acceleration is to the left because the force is pushing to the left.

direction of velocity is direction of movement
So in this case, direction of velocity is "to the right"
direction of acceleration is the same as the direction of force (force = mass x acceleration)
- or more precisely: the same as the direction of the sum of the forces
So in this case, direction of acceleration is "to the left"
