The coordinates of point Y are given. Y (0,2) the mid point of line XY is (3,-5). What's the coordinates of X

Midpoint of (x₁, y₁), (x₂, y₂) is ((x₁+x₂)/2, (y₁+y₂)/2)

X = (x, y)
Y = (0, 2)

Midpoint = ((x+0)/2, (y+2)/2) = (3,−5)

(x+0)/2 = 3
(y+2)/2 = −5

Solve for x and y

a+0=2(3)--->a=...

b+2=2(-5)--->b=...
