Is it normal that I never get hangovers?

I'm 18 years old, legal drinking age in the UK. I started drinking a few months ago and I drank about 5 shots each time I go drinking. My friends would get sick like throwing up and headache the next day after drinking but I feel like perfectly fine after I wake up from a night or day of drinking. I feel that sleeping after drinking makes me feel much better even though if the sleep is just an hour long. I never experienced hangover symptoms before even though I get buzzed quite quickly. Is it normal?

People who have blue eyes have a higher tolerance for alcohol. This has been scientifically proven.

At 18, yes. I don't believe I had a hangover until my mid 30s.

To me, a "shot" is just a small amount of spirit. Not all "shots" contain the same amount of alcohol but I'd guess that it would be close to one unit of alcohol. Five units isn't very much. You can still legally drive after three units.

I enjoy alcohol but could never drink a lot of it. I can drink even less of it now but I'd be able to manage five units of alcohol without feeling any after-effects the next morning. When I was eighteen I could have drunk quite a bit more than that and not had a hangover the next day.

Obviously, if your "shots" were doubles then that would be about ten units of alcohol. After that much alcohol I think I would always have been able to feel the effects the next day and would have had a disturbed sleep. I certainly couldn't handle it easily now (I'm in my sixties).
