I do not know if this company is messing me around?

Went for an interview a month ago,and sent follow up emails once a week,they said they will contact me should i be successful,they contacted me two weeks ago saying they ready to make a decision.asked me follow up questions.I asked when i should hear back from them,they said end of next week,which was last week friday,heard nothing sent a follow up email yesterday,still no response,i am begging to wounder if i am being messed around by this company, or they just have other things going on, which could be delaying the decision?

Never wait for a job offer.. it sounds like you were one of the final few but didn't get the job. Continue to look for jobs even while you are interviewing & waiting. I doubt they are just messing with you deliberately but a lot of companies don't have the courtesy of calling the people who didn't get the job.. Very rude in my opinion.

Most likely they have other things going on and filling this job isn't one of their high priorities.
