Maybe it's dirty. Can you take the key off and clean it. I had a whole section of keyboard go out on an old laptop, I just bought a cheap keyboard and it worked great.

Probably a damaged key, try another keyboard to see if it works.

is the key stuck? you might have to replace it. look around on google.

Just buy another keyboard. Nowadays you can buy keyboards for less than 10 euros.
