What can be said about the treatment of veterans and how do you believe it can (should) be handled?

There is this misconception out there, that just because you served, the military is suppose to take care of you for the rest of your life.

All these "homeless" veterans out, that everyone likes to talk about (and pull fake numbers out of their butts)..........what prevented any of them from getting a job when they returned home? What prevented any of them from paying their rent or mortgage? Why are they homeless? they have no relatives or friends to lend a hand?

I'm not talking about the clearly wounded, and missing limbs and that sort of thing.

I'm talking about the bums you see, wearing ratty army jackets, pretending to be Vietnam vets......two arms, two legs, look perfectly healthy, and sit there on the curb all day, begging for change, with signs, saying, "I'm a VET. "

Yeah so? So am I. get a job. Now if I see a vet in a Wheel chair, with obvious injuries, I Always help the guy out. Otherwise.........life is rough...................get a grip and deal with it.

I say nothing, I take care of myself, shake the hand of veterans wherever I meet them, help them when I can,

Feed the public more propaganda so America doesn't think they are just a bunch of tool boxes.

Doctors, hospitals, and politicians are especially sensitive to the need of veterans who return home from war-torn areas. It's being handled more carefully after news stories of mishandling.

It's very good overall, although (like anything else) it can be improved.

Obama did a lot of work to do that. I'm pleasantly surprised that Trump is also being helpful in that area.

Trump has signed a bill to let vets be treated at any hospital. Whats your beef?
