Pain after eye exam (with dilation)?
Yesterday I had a routine eye exam. Since then, my right eye has been in pain, especially when I look up or around too fast. Could I have strained my eye muscles yesterday (will it go away) or do I have something more serious?

I have a similar problem. I had an eye exam yesterday with dilation and now I have slight upper eye pain (an it also feels like it's coming from the back). It's not painful or anything and I don't have any other symptoms. But it is annoying. I called the doctor and he said it's most likely eye strain but to keep an eye on it (no pun intended) and to come back in if it doesn't get better. What about you? Have you found any answers? I swear I should've just left my eyes alone :( I mean I haven't had an eye exam in years so I figured I needed an update (plus I need some new eyeglasses and the eclipse had me worried) but all is fine except for the presumed eye strain.
IF you had something more serious, you would have been told there, during the exam.
