Should I stop being friends with her?

Okay so I'm 17 &a my friend and 16 but have very control freaks for parents they don't let her do anything and I respect that but she told me that her parents were talking about me dirty behind my back calling me a "bad influence" or that my mother is a bad parent but I don't do anything bad don't smoke drink curse nothing like that at all they said that because I play M for mature games (which I'm actually eligible to play) and the television shows I watch like shameless Empire ahs etc.

And I just feel betrayed because she told me right out that her parents were doing this and I feel as if I don't want a friendship with her anymore because she lied to me and it's not the first time that this has happened

Should cut Ends with this friendship or......

Ok..they r strict but she shouldnt have to lose ur friendship cause of it.
and SHE needs to be smarter, WHY would she tell u things that would hurt u, even if parents said it.
since u dont want her friendship, then slowly backup...stop talking so much or texting. she will get the point

You say both that she told you her parents were doing this, and that she lied. So, I'm confused - what did your friend lie about? There is nothing in your details about anything she lied about.
