Measuring Gases help?
How do I solve this?
How many particles are there in .622 moles of a gas?
回答 (3)
Each mole of a gas contains 6.022 × 10²³ gas particles.
No. of gas particles in 0.622 mole of a gas
= (0.622 mol) × (6.022 × 10²³ partciles/mol)
= 3.746 × 10²³
Do you know Avagadro's number?
This says that 1 mol of anything contains Avagadro's number of particles
Avagadro's number = 6.022*10²³
Therefore 0.622 mol of gas contains 0.622 * 6.022*10²³
This = 3.74 * 10²³ particles.
There are 6.02 x 10^23 'particles' in a mole of gas. Multiply this by 0.622 moles to get you answer
