How bad is it to drive with my low tire pressure warning light is on? It s at 18 PSI, pumped it up but a day after it goes down to that.?

So there might be something wrong with the tire. Since its Sunday here tomorrow, tire centers are closed, I have to work 28 miles round trip, will I be fine one day of driving? Or is it dangerous to drive with that one tire low? It doesn t look flat but it does only have 14-18 PSI when it s supposed to be at 34 PSI. Thanks

How abut putting air in the tire Dufus?! There are air pumps at many gas stations just for that purpose!
If you drive with a tire that low in pressure the tire can separate from the rim and blow out all the air and ruin the tire.

With low tire pressure, the vehicle handling will be compromised, you will decrease your fuel mileage, and you will risk destroying the tire.
Fit the spare tire ( and make sure it has the correct tire pressure ).

It's not ok to drive like that. But you're going to drive anyway. So you might find out what happens.
Understand that because it dropped from 35 to 18 on one day, that it might drop from 35 to 7 on another day. It might go flat in 15 minutes.
The true answer to your tire stores closed dilemma is to use your spare tire. You don't have one? Then what will you do if your tire goes flat when you are halfway to work? On Sunday?

It is dangerous as the tire dehaves differently.
Also running a soft tire will overheat it risking lasting damage to the structure.
Fit the spare it is what they are for.

No. Anything under 25psi is asking for a destroyed tire.

Fill it to 34 before you drive to work, then hit a tire shop right after work. Driving on low pressure damages the side wall of the tire.
