I want to watch a new TV series. What show should I watch ?

Shameless (US). A lot of sex, drugs, and abuse (mostly verbal). It's about a family of 6 and the eldest sister has to take care of her 5 siblings because their deadbeat drunk father and bipolar mother aren't fit to take care of them. Their father is actually really smart, like, genius smart, but he just can't commit to staying sober and doing good things for his family. All the characters are great, actually. I'm not doing the show justice right now, but it's a great show.

Give 'My Name is Earl' a try. Amusing and quite different.

Since we don't know what you've seen it's hard to recommend something but I totally agree with what castiel said, Shameless. It's OnDemand and on NetFlix. The new season starts in November on Showtime.

It depends what kind of show you're into. I like doctor who a lot but you might not like that kind of show but that's what I suggest.
