My blood pressure is 140/80 is this high enough for medications. If not high high till they ask you to take meds?

Normal for the UK if over 40.
Younger people should be 120/80

You don't need Meds, mine gets higher than that now and again.

By itself it isn't high enough to require medication. But it is the trend that will determine that- not just one isolated measurement.

Depends on your age and other factors. But my Dr. doesn't get out of shape when he read slightly over 140 for me. My diastolic is always under 80 tho.
