Why are 'Libs' so called? They seem far more fascistic than 'conservatives' and against ANY free speech that doesn't suit their agenda?

I never call idiots with an agenda 'liberals' or 'libtards' as there is nothing liberal about them - all they want to do is stifle and censor opinions they disagree with - there is nothing 'liberal' about that. Liberalism is constitutionally allowing all free speech and opinion.

Free speech means that you can't be jailed for your stupid opinion. It does not mean that everyone else is restricted from advising you to keep your opinion to yourself because it's so stupid.

I don't censor anyone. If you call me a racial slur or foul name in my presence, I'll pop you one. Bigly. Any questions. If you can't play like a big boy, stay home. Okay!

Actually, that is Libertarianism. Not Liberalism. Very different political ideologies. Libertarians tend to be registered Republicans if not registered as Independents or Libertarians, such as myself. (I am a Libertarian, registered as a Republican).

"Liberals" in the US, of course, are not liberal. The radicals of the 1960, who eschewed liberalism, have grown up. They also realized that they couldn't sell radicalism, while liberalism has a positive connotation, so they simply co-opted the term. The real liberals for the most part now call themselves libertarians in order to differentiate. Since we're well past 1984, this Newspeak seems perfectly appropriate.

Yeah well conservatism usually doesn't entail electing celebrities like Trump or Kid Rock, so I guess you can ponder that too.
