Aspirin is a BLOOD THINNER. it makes the blood easier to pump, and that puts less straing on the ehart.

With thinner blood, your husband is ALSO less likely to developa Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) which CAN BE FATAL.

Smart Doctor! Be nice to hiem, and be sure youo husbadn goes to EVREY visitis, and DOES WHAT THE DOCTRO SAY. It WILL save his life.

A low dose of Aspirin, daily, helps to prevent strokes and heart attacks, ma'am.

Hypertension (high blood pressure) and high levels of LDL (low density lipoprotein) cholesterol make it MORE LIKELY that the diabetic patient would go on to suffer either strokes, TIAs (Transient Ischaemic Attacks ... or 'mini-strokes') and/or heart attacks.

It seems that your husband's doctor(s) is/are trying to save your husband from suffering these with the inclusion of Aspirin in his medication update.

He's been taking meds for all of the above since 2014 but the doctor just prescribed the aspirin April 2017 and I'm just finding out.
