Do old people hate the color red?

When I was in college, women were warned that red dresses were 'sexual' - this was back in 1966 when the dorms were still segregated by sex and women were told not to sit on a man's lap unless they put down a newspaper (really, honest to effing gawd - people really were taught that in college).

Old people are confused, don't listen to them. They probably just don,t like the color red for themselves.

Those specific two old people do. But for comparison, both of my grandmothers told me that red was a great color on me.
