how do chinese feel about the fact they make everything?

They make, but the don't create.

All the stuff they make is pretty much invented or designed in the USA and Japan. The Chinese simply assemble the stuff that others create.

Don't get me wrong, that's a lot better than being the poor dirt farmers they were before, but they will never become great until they create too!

They are clearly the most powerful nation in the world. However, they don't make everything! They make lots of stuff, they have excellent schools, they have the largest military force, the largest population, and, though quite private about it, no doubt at all that they have the most power. So I'm guessing they feel pretty good. Except for all that air pollution they suffer in the cities.
