What does he mean by this?

So I met this guy on tinder a couple months ago and we texted back and forth for about 2 months and then we finally met and started hanging out last month. So a week of us just getting to know each other, we made it official and actually started dating. I'm pretty happy right now and I currently like the place we are in. But yesterday we were watching netflix at his place like usual and we were watching Killer Kids which is a show about kid killers and on this episode the girl killed her baby and drowned them in the toilet. And right after the narrator said that, he kissed me and said "Let's make a baby." I don't know if i should be alarmed by this or not, but i brushed it off and continued watching the show. My problem is 1.) We just started dating not even a whole month, so i'm confused on why he said something like that. 2.) this wasn't his first time him saying those words to me. He said "You gonna have my kids?" a couple weeks ago and when i tried to ignore that comment, he asked again and all i did was laugh. and 3.) why is he making that comment after that? So my question is what does he mean about the baby statements? Is he kidding or serious and how do i find out without actually asking?
