Do substitute teacher's and aides get paid even if they are not substituting a certain day....or do they only get paid for the days they are substituting?

They would only get paid for days that they work.
The school district isn't gong to pay them just be to available.

Having done substitute teaching I can guarantee that they only get paid for days they work.
