In recent years - Avatar and The Martian. They were good but not that good.

I can name two Cameron movies that seem like they're six hours long a piece... Avatar and Titanic.

This will inevitably get flack. I don't agree with the crowds most of the time, and these two movies are great examples.

Fast and the Furious saga. I love Paul Walker, and was even sad to see him go, but the movies aren't as good as everyone says...it stopped being good by any means when the spy **** started coming up.
