£75 taken from my Natwest debit account. Can they use chargeback to help get it back?

A random website sent a receipt to me by email saying thankyou for paying $96 (£74-75) for a yearly membership for this website and i immediately looked on my bank to find the money already gone but the transaction not shown up yet.
I dont remember entering any bank details and i have never used this site regardless of making an account. I immediately requested twice to the website that the money be refunded immediately or i would take it further but am yet to receive a reply. I have cancelled my membership however reviews of this website say its a scamming website and that they take money even when you re account is removed and subscription is cancelled. The website is verified on twitter and has a green padlock on the web address therefore i had no suspicion that it would be a dodgy at all.
Anyway, i do not have faith that the company will refund me but i spoke to natwest who said they can only start to help me when the money isnt pending and has been accepted. Im hoping they can use chargeback to help me. Is this possible?

They might be able to. But how did the site get your account info if you didn't give it to them?

How did they get your card number?
Did you sign up for a trial?
Talk to your bank immediately.
