Do you think Haiti will develop a space programme? If so, when will that be and will they be able to reach Mars?

Well, ..., Haiti, is the poorest nations on earth. They're a re so many infrastructure issues there that I doubt they'll be able to develop a space program there. On thing they could do is partner is Iridium, NASA, or other companies to provide communications and land use data to aid organizations working there to help them use land and building efforts in a wise manner. Going to Mars for them is a very long way off.

There are a hundred and one things waiting to be fixed before the topic of 'space programme' can come up. The things to be fixed up are needed to be fixed so as to be a platform for a space programme.

Haiti will not, and has never wanted to, develop a space program. Haitians are smart enough to know that Mars is a dead-end and deadly destination. Haitians missed the boat. The "space age" was several decades ago, and has long since fizzled out. It was nothing more than a political stunt during the cold war.

All the wannabes now just look foolish and behind-the-times. If Haitians were serious about making a media spectacle for themselves they should try hacking into major institutions in the US. That is guaranteed to generate prestige.
