Between the hours of 0800 and 2200, cars arrive at a n average rate of 0.8 per minute. Assuming that arrival times are random, calculate the probability that at least 2 cars will arrive during a particular minute between 0800 and 2200.

P(x)= λ^x * e^(-λ) / x!
= 0.8^x * e^(-0.8) / x!
P( X ≧ 2 )
= 1 - P( X < 2 )
= 1 - [ P(0) + P(1) ]
= 1 - e^(-0.8)*[ 0.8^0/0! + 0.8^1/1! ]
= 1 - 1.8*e^(-0.8)
≒ 0.191 ..... Ans
