Is instant noodles bad- working out the calories content?

Okay so I am confused by the labelling of the instant noodles packet.
So the packet that I eat, at the back says 108g.
So at the nutriential information part, 100g is 145 calories. However at the front it says "Half a packet is 259 calories" which confuses me. Which means that one packet must be 500 calories. But it says 100g is 145 and the packet is 108g.
Now I am confused because if one packet is 500+ calories I am ready to quit eating it.

Btw, my diet is very healthy. I don t eat red meat or chicken or dairy. However I do consume fish/seafood.
But I don t want to eat rice daily because that gets boring and want to add noodles for some variety.

The information on the back, does it say a serving is 108 grams or the entire packet is 108 grams (and is 1 serving)? Could the differing information be with and without adding a seasoning packet of some kind or in adding water versus something else to the noodles?

It's unclear but often the info on the back is based on calories per serving and the package may have more than 1 serving in it. Otherwise, I'm unsure without seeing what you're looking at.

Per the source site, a 3 ounce (85 grams) packet of chicken flavored ramen noodles (Maruchan brand) is 376 calories. Not sure what type of noodles you're referring to, but this should give you a ballpark idea of what the calorie content might be.
