What car is better in your opinion BMW I8 or the Audi R8?

This really is a 'Heart or Head' comparison........In fact not a fair comparison at all !
The BMW is a Hybrid and the R8 is a fire breathing V8 or V10 powered supercar. Nobody is likely to have them on the same shopping list !
My opinion.........I would buy the BMW. I know many wouldn't though !

Re. The answer from 'Dr + Mrs Bearsface. There is no such company as "AG" that owns Audi and BMW. Just a figment of the Dr's imagination. Audi and BMW are totally separate company's.

"Better" is subjective. There is no single right nor wrong answers, only differing opinions.

But they're very different vehicles. The R8 comes as either a coupe or convertible, with a V8 or V10 naturally aspirated engine. The I8 is a plug-in hybrid ( coupe only ) with a 1.5L I3 turbocharged engine as the secondary power source. The main power comes from 2 electric motors that can drive the vehicle on their own or use the engine to supplement the motors when called upon.

They're both beautiful cars with no real quality under the bonnet. But, I would take an Audi over a BMW anyday.

Hi so as both are made by A.G. group of Germany it really is a case of enviromently friendly the BMW I 8 or the traditional gasoline engine Audi R8.
as the BMW I8 is a Hybrid car.
