Where do I find legal counsel about filing a complaint on my employer for harassment?

How do I go about this I've been harassed daily because of the expresion of my face, my clothing that makes me seem big, the shoes I wear and also about my family members who have come in. I get bad comments everyday I go into work not about my job performance but because of my looks and family members. Where do I go to file a lawsuit or something I talked to the store manager but then he tried to make me pay him off. So that he can look the other way so I can beat up those people. I'm not about physical altercations, I'd rather have them fired and be compensated for my emotional distress help me?

My advice to you is to forget about filing a complaint and grow a thicker skin. Emotional distress is not, by itself, an actionable issue without evidence that you've been treated by a professional. Please remember that every little thing we deal with in life is not a law suit.

Call your state bar association. They will refer you to a lawyer who will tell you that you have no case; don't waste your time and money.

Try Martindale-Hubble Law Directory.

Nowhere. They are allowed to harass you for any or all of those things. Employers can decide what is or is not an acceptable way to dress for work, and you are not supposed to let your family visit you at work.

OR you could find another job because you have had no financial damages from them giving your what sounds like what is called CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. You have to PROVE to the court that you had to have COUNSELING because of this so-called "harassment". Grow up and stop being such a whiny crybaby!

NO lawyer would take this case, since you have nothing to sue for.

Poster anonymous did a great job of summing up the reasons why.

And (if) you decide to beat them up, then YOU could be charged with assult.

1. Your face and looks are not a protected class. You can even be fired because of how you look. If they have a dress code, you do need to follow it.

2. Use your head for a change and tell family members to stay the hell away. They do not belong there, period, ESPECIALLY while you're working.

https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/types/harassment.cfm

Harassment is unwelcome conduct that is based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.

You have options. You can grow a thicker skin, you can change your style of dressing - I would start laughing at this nutjob - tell your family to stay away or you can quit.
