Make sure you have no magazine over the allotted 10 round capacity, sell your AR-15 or AK-47 if you have one, and don't run around with them in the car. Keep them at home! If you have to travel with them, make sure they are in the trunk and unloaded, no loaded magazines or magazines in the gun!!
