Why did Kathy Griffin say "It's always white males signing my paychecks" in her apology to the public (politically)?

Because she is an idiot.

PS: She won't have to worry about that anyway. She's not going to be getting many paychecks in the foreseeable future... if ever.

She isn't sorry she is lashing out at everyone that she thinks has held her back in life.

Typical left wing feminist

IMO, the woman is clearly oblivious to any humane attitudes or feelings - as are many of today's comics. She was simply testing the waters as to how far she could go and get away with - and she lost. Anyone that believes she could experience genuine remorse is foolish. I would venture to bet comedians will push the envelope of what is permissible and bizarre and inhumane humor WILL become just another feature of our cultural environment.

The poor thing is a comic, and as such she says creative sparks of ideas that are poorly thought out. In her repertoire of things, in this case injustices of the world that apply to why she is a victim, this comment was one of them. Exactly what she meant or what is the injustice isn't meant to apply to this Trump situation. Consider it to be unused comic material. It is like the punch line for a joke. All she has to do is set up the punch line with a story, and she will have a joke. Give her 10 minutes and she would create a lie-joke about Trump and use the punch line.
