changing the water pump on a 1999 Chevy blazer 4.3 ?

hi guys ! I have a 99 Chevy blazer 4.3 and I need to change the water pump ! do any of you know which way the big nut on the fan turns to remove it ? thanks guys !

Counter clockwise. Righty tighty, lefty loosey
Now's the time to check all the pulleys too, for smooth quiet spinning.

Lefty loosey. Heat the nut with an oxyacetylene torch and then hit the wrench with a hammer to break it loose.
