Soak in hot soapy water.

The whirly bits come out and you can wash them separately.

you can try removing the screws that hold the case together and clean it. But if like the ones I have had recently, this is very difficult and you would be further ahead buying another mixer! They are not very expensive, less than $20

Try it and see if it still works> if it does then you can use it. You did not say how much. If it was a small amount you might be okay.
