(A) as if , as though --- 意思 都是 「好像」
. . . ============
eg. She laughed as if / as though she had won a lottery.
eg. Tim run as if / as though a tiger was chasing after him.

eg. This dog looked as if / as though it had gone astray.
eg. It felt as if / as though it could rain at any time.

★ " as if / as though " 的唯一分別是 --- " as if " 較常用!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(B) like --- 意思 也是 「好像」
. . .===
概括一點: like = as if = as though
就如上面的例子, 大可寫作 :
eg. She laughed like she had won a lottery.
eg. It felt like it could rain at any time.
★ 分別是 : -
" like " 是較 INFORMAL(非正規的) 的說法!
-- 較適合於「曰常閒談」時用 ,
-- 於 "composition, letters", 就最好用 " as if / as though " ( Formal English )
1. "Like" is sometimes used as a conjunction in order to say that something appears to be the case when it is not. Some people consider this use to be "incorrect." (此時 like = as if, as though)
His arms look like they might snap under the weight of his gloves.
On the train up to Waterloo I felt like I was going on an adventure.
2. "Like" is sometimes used as a conjunction in order to indicate that something happens or is done in the same way as something else. Some people consider this use to be incorrect.
People are strolling, buying ice cream for their children, just like they do every Sunday.
He spoke exactly like I did.
所以還是不要使用like為連接詞為妥。
