How Can I legally Fix My Daughter's Birth Full Name For Her Diploma?
My little girl received her Kindergarten Graduation diploma today and i am a little upset because i wasn't aware they had an error on their end regarding how her name was suppose to be printed out.
For argument sake we will say that her name is Jessica.
On her kindergarten diploma it reads Jessica Kelly Ann, when i was hoping it would read Jessica Ann Kelly.
I felt perhaps during enrolling her online the registration perhaps read her name wrong and did a miss print.
If anything I am trying to drop her, "Ann" name so it can just read Jessica Kelly.
Does anyone know how i can fix this change so it wont affect the rest of her school years?
I would like to Remove "Ann" from her name so instead of reading Jessica Ann Kelly It' will just read Jessica Kelly Through out the rest of her school years and future HS diploma.
Note: I was confused during the time and i guess i thought i had to enroll her what was listed on her birth certificate which has 4 names that read Jessica maria Ann-Kelly.
At Birth with her i wasn't married and she is my 1st child so i was thinking that i had to give her both Mommy and Daddy's Last name.
I would also like to find out how i can drop my maiden last name that's on her birth certificate so instead of reading Jessica maria Ann-Kelly It will just read Jessica Maria Kelly.
appreciate any assistance of this matter of how i can fix this mess that i had gave to my daughter.

Just go to the school and say what her preferred name is. It's really not a huge deal. It's certainly not a legal problem. They'll call her any mix of the names as long as it's legitimately her, they'll even use other names.
And it's time to be a little less dramatic about what is basically irrelevant. No one will ever, ever ask for a kindergarten diploma. This is just a cute thing done to make kids feel special, but there's nothing special about passing kindergarten. You're kind of a fuckup if you don't.
Talk to the school - problem solved. No idea why you're making such a big deal over this. I can only imagine what your reaction would be if something serious happened.
Her kindergarten certificate is going to be long lost soon. (You do not earn a diploma for finishing kindergarten). It is no big deal. If you want just her first name and your last name, ask the school office if they can reprint one for you.
However if you are trying to say you want to change her last name, so she legally has your last name only, you can do that in court. It is a simple procedure. Google how to do it in your county.
They HAVE to get her first, middle, and last name in the correct positions.
You and teh teachers can call her anything they want, but "ANN" MUST be on teh LEGAL records, and it must be the correct name.
Talk to the school principal.
