Side Show comes to mind as carnivals and circuses used to have these side shows where you could pay a dime or so and see a super fat woman or bearded lady or extremely tall man or some other 'freak' of nature. I believe that few people will actually understand, but if asked, say she is like the fat lady at the circus side show.
