Let me tell you the difference of Taiwanese and Korean
Korean had strong nationalism while Taiwanese does not have. Korean already an independent country while Taiwan were not, therefore Korean had dictatorship just like Rhee syngman and Park Chung hee, but they still claimed themselves Korean.Taiwan had been ruled by Qing and Japan and later the Nationalist Party, therefore, they hate the Nationalist Party and Chinese more than Japanese because Japan Gov. did many manufacturing and facilities in Taiwan, such as the railway, hospital and Onsen. Taiwanese also affected by Japanese and learn Japanese.

日治時期，臺灣人和日本人原本很有隔閡，但在戰爭期間，由於共同患難，逐漸拉近關係。戰後，日本人認命接受戰敗國的命運，被遣送回國前的困苦，以及離開時的淒涼(只能攜帶隨身行李和一千元日幣)，讓很多臺灣人非常同情。日本人離開時，還將家屋打掃得乾乾淨淨，更贏得了尊敬。戰後新統治者的差別待遇，更加深臺灣人對日本人的同情。老一輩臺灣人對日本人普遍有親近感，多半是在戰後才形成。
