I am going to tell you some advice about keeping pets. I think it is better to adopt a dog than a tortoise. It is because I think dogs can give me unconditional love and a cure for loneliness. If I have a dog, I will treasure my dog and pour my heart out to my dog.
The first reason why I think dogs are better than a tortoise is dogs are loyal. Dogs will follow you everywhere, protect you and don't ask for much in return. I am always touched and moved by dog .However, a tortoise will not follow you or protect you, even they will escape from you or protect themselves with their shells when you have dangers. Dogs are your faithful friends!
The second reason is dogs are more responsive than a tortoise. Dogs will happily go out for walks, so you need to keep walking with you dogs. I have been chased by dogs recently but the dogs are not mine. Therefore, dogs enhance you physical fitness and health. However, tortoises don't need to be active and responsive.
