No, not particularly. You need protein for that, not starch.
A lot of people lose weight on a low carb diet. Rice is pretty high in carbs so it may not help.
Rice is a fake healthy food, it's just carbs, it is however a better source of carbs than bread or something maybe and it's healthy overall just not a diet food per se, I eat rice often but only about 1/4 cup.
is Rice "GOOD" for muscles and weight loss ?
Rice is a Carbohydrate meaning it is A source of Calories which is ENERGY ..muscles being part of the human body ,require energy to function .but also need protein for repair
LOSS of something such as Body weight , can be dependent on the amount of calories consumed vs calories REQUIRED , ( but body weight the total weight of the body can have a loss as in measurement can be a result of dehydration as in fluid loss not necessarily fat cells deceasing in size ,one can also have weight loss by muscle atrophy )
excess calories . those not required are converted into Storage regulated by INSULIN Fat cells take up glucose ( the form carbohydrates are broken down to by digestion ) and amino acids from the blood stream .
..so its related to the AMOUNT of calories consumed in this case one specifically stated to be "RICE"
Most health experts agree there is no proof that high carb foods are more likely to make us gain weight than any other food. Ultimately, it is an excess of calories that makes us pile on the pounds, and it really doesn’t matter where those extra calories come from. In fact, it is usually the fat we add to carbs that boosts the calorie content, such as butter on a jacket potato or bread, creamy sauces with pasta and frying rice
Addressting your question. Rice is naturally low in fat, but it is high in carbohydrates. Advocates for a low carbohydrate approach to weight loss argue cutting out grains, like rice, is beneficial for fat loss. However, other research suggests eating rice may not increase risk for obesity. In fact, certain countries known to eat a high amount of rice have low obesity rates.
If you eating rice every time it i not good for muscles and weight loss.
