If a psychopath is someone who can't feel, do psychopaths even exist?

I looked up if they had empathy, which they do. They can turn it on and off. If the whole thing around psychopaths is their inability to feel emotion, doesn't this fact make calling people "psychopaths" invalid?

Psychopath isn't around the ability to feel nothing, its about feeling emotions in ways or places deemed wrong by society. (or outside of the normal brain wave functions). A psychopath who goes around killing people isn't doing it emotionlessly... he is killing because he finds taking the light from peoples eyes a fun activity.

No, they can't turn it on and off. We all wish we could do that, but we can't. Psychopathy is a permanent deadness of emotion.
