I got him from the shelter his papers said chihuahua mix what do you guys think he is mixed with I'm curious I think jack Russell or terrier maybe even Dalmatian because of his spots im probably far off so what do you all think?

Some sort of terrier - certainly not a Dalmatian, those are large dogs. Many terriers have spots, and many chi's are bicolor. He has very interesting facial markings!

Even if the dog is pedigreed, shelters won't tell you they got pedigree papers with the dog.

He is likely pure chihuahua, although a "pet quality" one. If he shivers, i would say he's one. Chihuahuas don't always breed to the breed standard. One puppy in a litter may come out somewhat different from the rest of the litter.

Regardless of what he may look like, it won't change the fact that it's still a mix.
