It s really cool looking and used to stand for peace. I d love to wear a swastika without people thinking I m a nazi. It kinda sucks.

I agree. The symbol was used to represent many great things other than just peace as well. It was used in a lot of places - so it had multiple meanings which made it kind of universal. It is a shame, but the best thing we can do is recognize its recent history, and perhaps in the future, just like how people forgot it was good, maybe they will forget it was bad, and it can be taken back. Right now though? A bit too soon I feel. Just educate people on what it really meant in the meantime, while not dismissing what it means now.

That's hardly the worst thing they did. I really wouldn't worry too much about it.

They ruined it, but they can't ruin it forever. If you juxtapose it with other spiritual symbols, such as the Sun or the nautical star, it loses its venom.

Yeah, it sucks, doesn't it? It's one of the most ancient symbols known to humanity and it's been defiled. It will take centuries to be rehabilitated if ever that happens.

If only there was another peace symbol that you could wear.

Or is that not the point?
