Can I get a replacement key for a bike lock?

I recently lost the key to my bike lock and I'm wondering if the key to a identical model lock can unlock it or if I should get the lock cut.

IF...(big if) you bought an OnGuard or Kryptonite lock and SAVED the key code card, they can make another key for you. Other than that...it would probably be less expensive just to cut the old lock & buy a new one. Locksmiths can get expensive.
Oh...and next time, store the spare key in a safe place. They ALL come with at least two keys - even inexpensive locks come with at least TWO KEYS!

A lock smith can make you one. Though it'll cost more than buying a new lock.

A professional locksmith can help you out in such situations. Perhaps, purchasing of key less locks are much better option than locks with key. You do not need to keep the keys in pocket or at some secure place. Just remember locking code and unlock the device whenever you want!

Go to a locksmith if there is still one around your area. They may be able to help. Next time get 2 keys.
