There was a girl calling our office 9 times inquiring about employment opportunities. The doctor i work for finally returned her phone call. She came by. After she left, i asked the doctor if he liked her and his reply was, "not as much as i liked you."
What did the doctor mean?
The registered nurse who works in the office keeps telling me the doctor doesn't want to get rid of me...
a couple of weeks ago, i showed the doctor a resume i found for a medical assistant position and the doctor said, "we have you. we don't need anyone else."
what does this mean?

From your description it seems the doctor is happy with your work and considers you a good employee. Is that a problem?
