Wife won't see a doctor about unexplained weight loss.?

My wife has lost between 20-30 pounds over the last six months despite eating normally and being relatively healthy, and now refuses to see a doctor to find out why. She claims it is because of stress (her mother has been in hospice and passed away recently) but I feel she is in denial and doesn't want to address what is most likely a serious medical condition. I'm at my wits end. How do I convince her that she needs to see a physician as soon as possible?

I would just pray for her and be there for her let her know that your concerned and your worried about her and that you would really like for her to get a second opinion because you want to spend forever with her and don't want it be thing serious and her not get the help she needs

no offense but unless your wife isn't american i'd be very suspicious. even by you using the word "claims" tells me you are aware of it.
American women are just not to be trusted. until they have earned it. and if she hasn't earned it than i'd double check everything she says on my own without her knowing.
lets face the facts here. if your wife is like 95% of the US women she will go to the doctor for a case of the hiccups if there is even a chance she will get a free lollipop.
Though there is the possibility it could be cancer. i'd still double check my self anyway. Not to say she is concealing anything. you just don't know because women tell so many lies and other times are indifferent. the best way to deal with them is to pretend to be willing but be skeptical and question everything in private and seek your own answers. because when they go into a shell its difficult to discern whether they are with someone else or if they are really sick.
