Molar mass of SO₃ = (32.06 + 16.00×3) g/mol = 80.06 g/mol
No. of moles of SO₃ produced = (2250 g) / (80.06 g/mol) = 28.10 mol

2SO₂(g) + O₂(g) → 2SO₃(g)
Mole ratio SO₂ : O₂ : SO₃ = 2 : 1 : 2
No. of moles of SO₂ required = (28.10 mol) × (2/2) = 28.10 mol
No. of moles of O₂ required = (28.10 mol) × (1/2) = 14.05 mol

Molar volume of gas at STP = 22.4 L/mol
Volume of SO₂ required at STP = (28.10 mol) × (22.4 L/mol) = 629.4 L
Volume of O₂ required at STP = (14.05 mol) × (22.4 L/mol) = 314.7 L
