This month during the days which I'm supposed to get my period, I didn't have period. Instead I only have spotting. I didn't have my period since early February this year and I'm worried whether there's something wrong with my body. I'm a virgin, I never have sex before hence I know it's definitely not pregnancy. I'm worried that I might have an illness which causes it. Is it normal to miss period for so long?

There are a lot of things that can cause that like: illness, dieting, stress, or depression even. I obviously don't know your health history, but if something like that has happened, it could be the reason. I suggest you track the spotting on the calendar. Also, watch for any pelvic pain or other symptom that seems to be related. You can see a pediatrician if you are still seeing one. You don't necessarily need to go to a GYN.

People, who are underweight have a lack of period. Are you underweight?
