Should I take the cotton swab out of the dryer?

I was cleaning the filter of the dryer and I took out the filter, put it away, and used a cotton swab to clean the area where it is placed.

I accidentally dropped the cotton swab into the opening down there. I couldn't get it out. The opening is narrow and the place underneath is broad.

Should I get it out? Or it doesn't matter and I can use the dryer as usual?
