A string has a length 7.4 m and mass 6.8 kg. It is under tension of 9.8N. Find the time for a wave to travel from one end to the other end of the string.

Your calculation seems correct.The right hand side of the equation is the wave velocity expressed in m/s (metres per second). Hence, the time t is in unit of "second"
