Roam Emperor Nero's full name form 666 when gematria is applied. Much of Revelation is veiled criticism of Rome and its emperor, people who know history well comprehend that. Nero kill much of his family, including his mother, he certainly kill painfully any slaves who criticize him openly. when I see number 666 I think of Drusus Germanicus Neron Caesar Imperator.

I never heard that one, and it doesn't make sense. It's a number. It doesn't do anything. I've heard of that "mark of the beast" thing, but that doesn't mean the number 666. That thing you say about Greek anatomy and a gland for sexual desires is really 'out there" and is meaningless.

Just as the number '7' represents 'God' and 'holiness', and the number '6' represents mankind and the world and unholiness, so '666' stresses that this man is definitely Satanic and represents everything God is not. Generally, this is a superstitious number from Biblical passages referring to a mythical evil "Beast", which God has given this number to. The Beast has seven heads and ten horns, that comes out of the sea. It's generally considered to be representative of divisions caused by tribal political fighting.

Just figure it started at the Bubonic Plague, then America took over after WWII, and Israel took over as ruler of the world in October 2009.
