I see people joke about it on social media. I'm not sure why though. It's honestly rather frightening

TURKEY shot down Putin's jet fighter and he didn't do squat. So no, you think he wants to tangle with the USA?

" It's honestly rather frightening" No kidding. With a Trump in charge of what is, like it or not, the most important country in the Western World, I think we are all entitled to be extremely worried about what happens next. Putin has already said he's removed the block on shooting down aircraft in certain airspace. So just wait - once THAT happens, War, in whatever form, is almost inevitable.

The world once went to a world war over a small country like Serbia, it can easily happen again. And when that happens I'm moving to Uruguay to get high and await the nuclear winter.

We need another Cold War. Without a good enemy that is a very real and constant threat, too many people in the USA will elect any moron that comes in and spouts a few catch phrases they like. If they put more importance on the fact that one mistake by the person they elect could end the lives of everyone they love and the nation they live in, they might put a little more thought into it.

Not a one of the candidates that were qualified to be a capable president made it very far in the primaries. They didn't have good enough catch phrases and didn't use stupid tricks to keep the cameras on them. Most of the best candidates didn't even run, because they knew they would never get the votes from THIS type of population.
