What could be wrong? Broken wrist? Sprain? Maybe just a deep bruise?

I won't get into why, but a few hours ago I thought it would be a good idea to hit a wooden door. I guess I punched it with the side of my wrist? The outer part of my right arm. That bone right on your wrist is what took mostly all of the impact. It amomost instantly bruised and became swollen. My hand almost instant got numb. It was so painful. I couldn't move my fingers I felt like my hand had a Charlie horse in it. Now hours later, I have full mobility of my wrist, it is still a little swollen but the bruise is still there. Random pains come when I use my hand, it sometimes hurts to text, or just extend any fingers. My hand actually gets really cold sometimes too. I don't think it's broken simply for the fact that I have full mobility, and the pain isn't constant. My girlfriend and friend insist on me going to get an X-ray, but I wanted another opinion or 2..what do you guys think I did
